JOB SUMMARY:
The Plant Manager is responsible for ensuring a safe, efficient environment within a mining operation in order to maximize the production of quality aggregates for the various end users.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Provide oversight and constructive feedback to the mining & processing teams.
- Ensuring workplace safety and environmental compliance standards are exceeded, including housekeeping for entire operation.
- Ensuring quality standards of finished products are consistently met.
- Timely and accurate production and key metrics reporting; all prescribed administrative processes are being followed
- Maintaining appropriate and accurate inventories.
- Timely ordering of parts and supplies.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
* This is a 500k ton facility *
- Perform all work in accordance with YBP Safety and Environmental policies.
- The work occurs in both office and field environments, proper PPE required in field at all times
- Capable of operating various types of office equipment including but not limited to computers, copiers, and scanners.
PHYSICAL CAPABILITIES:
- Physical demands include but are not limited to walking, sitting, bending, stooping, and lifting up to 25 pounds.

Requirements:QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Strong leadership, organizational and technical skills; familiarity with P/L statements.
- Experience with electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical systems in a high volume production environment.
- Experience with production scheduling and meeting customer requirements.
- Ability to troubleshoot and prioritize plant issues and maintenance tasks.
- Ability to successfully interact with cross-functional departments and external entities
- Thorough understanding of safety and environmental regulations with a strong track record of managing a successful S&E program.
- Basic computer literacy required.
