The Stabler Department of Nursing is seeking to hire qualified adjunct clinical faculty with experience in medical-surgical or women’s health nursing to provide clinical instruction in the Baccalaureate degree program. Adjunct faculty are expected to instruct students in the clinical setting; provide support and guidance; and evaluate performance of learning outcomes.

Successful hiring of at least 4 adjunct faculty to teach an undergraduate nursing clinical for NUR334/335 or NUR328/329

- Maintains current knowledge related to clinical policies and procedures.
- Keeps the course coordinator informed of all student and agency issues and concerns.
- Serves as a professional role model for other faculty, staff, and students in the clinical setting.
- Evaluates weekly assignments and provides feedback to students in a timely manner.
- Adheres to applicable regulatory rules and standards.
- Licensure as a Registered Nurse in Pennsylvania
- Baccalaureate degree in nursing
- Graduate degree in nursing or plans to complete a graduate degree within 5 years
- Expertise and experience in medical-surgical or women’s health nursing
