What are the responsibilities and job description for the (CLOSING SHIFT) Toddler Teacher w/ CDA position at York Day Early Learning?
York Day Early Learning is seeking an early childhood educator to join our Toddler teaching teams, working with either young toddlers or older toddlers.
The successful candidate will be able to work until 5:30 pm. They will work with the Center Director to determine if their shift begins at 8:30 am (1 hour unpaid lunch break) or 9:00 am (1/2 hour unpaid lunch break).
The successful candidate for this position must hold an active CDA credential.

Requirements & Qualifications:
- Applicant must and be able to document 2 years working with children (2,500 documented hours), at minimum.
- A current CDA is required.
- Completion of an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field and/or 2 years of experience working with children is a plus.
- Must produce a clean PA Criminal History Check, FBI, PA Child Abuse Clearance, and National Sex Offender Registry Clearance.
- Successful applicant must obtain and pass a pre-employment physical examination and tuberculosis test; obtain and pass a bi-annual physical examination; have the visual ability to identify and respond to hazards; be able to lift up to 50 pounds on occasion and to lift children of various sizes; possess strength and endurance required to engage in exercise, group games, and other age-appropriate activities with, interact with, and maintain constant supervision of, the children enrolled in the program.
- Teachers must have reliable transportation.
