What You'll Do:
- Take vital signs, assess weights, and track input/output, communicating important updates to nurses.
- Assist patients with personal hygiene, including bathing, oral care, shaving, and toileting.
- Support meal service by preparing patients for meals, serving trays, and providing feeding assistance as needed.
- Help with patient movement, repositioning, and ambulation, as well as escorting patients as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized patient environment, ensuring rooms and storage areas are orderly.
- Respond to call lights, assist with communication, and answer phones when nurses and ward clerks are unavailable.
- Perform clerical tasks as a Ward Clerk, including processing orders, maintaining patient charts, updating census sheets, and greeting visitors.
What You Need:
- Strong communication skills, a caring nature, and the ability to prioritize tasks.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- BLS certification (or willingness to obtain).
