What You'll Do
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate education programs for students pursuing the Certified Nursing Assistant certification and/or Nursing degrees.
- Evaluate and document trainee progress through testing, observation, and assessment of skills attained.
- Provide a stimulating environment that encourages participation, interpersonal skills development, and comprehension of concepts of good patient care.
- Maintain accurate records, schedules, and course requirements regarding hours of instruction and content.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current related state and federal requirements and modify curriculum accordingly.
- Work closely with Nursing Directors and Coordinators to set up orientation, ongoing competencies, and drills to promote skill learning. Identifies Evidenced Based Practice and incorporates into educational opportunities.
What You Need
- Graduation from an accredited professional school of nursing and current licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Nebraska is required.
- Current BLS certification is required.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- High level of organization.
