We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to lead and manage a dynamic team. The ideal candidate must have a proven track record of managing staff and driving success in a team-oriented environment. This role requires a leader with substantial experience in billing operations and team management. Hybrid remote possibility after an introductory period.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of 18 individuals, providing direction, motivation, and support to ensure operational excellence and achievement of organizational goals.
- Oversee and ensure the timely and accurate processing of billing, adhering to all policies and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate across departments to streamline billing processes, improve efficiency, and resolve issues quickly.
- Mentor, coach, and develop team members, fostering a positive, high-performing environment.
- Implement performance metrics and provide regular feedback to staff to ensure continuous improvement and professional growth.
Key Qualifications:
- Five (5) years of billing leadership experience in a relevant industry, with a proven ability to manage complex billing systems and operations.
- Minimum3 years of experience managing teams of 18 individuals, with the ability to inspire and drive success across multiple team members.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels within the organization.
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, or business administration preferred or a combination of Certified Patient Account Manager (CPAM) designation and an Associate Degree.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively and foster team engagement, accountability, and high morale.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with the Paragon suite of applications, or comparable.
- Experience working within a hospital acute care system, with in-depth knowledge of healthcare operations, billing processes, and industry-specific requirements.
