We are seeking a part-time, 30 hour per week, Recruiter/HR Generalist to join our Team.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Greets individuals in person, by phone and email that present to the HR Department
- Collaborates with the Recruiter with pre-employment processes/documentation and travel staff placement in partnership with Hiring Managers.
- Conducts or acquires background checks and employee eligibility verifications.
- Facilitates new hire orientation and employee recognition programs.
- Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to benefits, recognition, payroll, occupational health and safety.
- Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
- Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
HR Recruitment Marketing Duties and Responsibilities
- Researches, develops and implements effective recruitment strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified and capable talent.
- Collaborates with department managers and leaders to identify and draft detailed and accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria.
- Identifies and implements efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on industry standards and the needs of the hospital.
- Works with marketing firm and Community Relations Department on the advertising process.
- Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations and YH policies.
- Attends and participates in job fairs and recruiting sessions.

- Healthcare experience preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- At least one year of human resource experience preferred.
