We are seeking a part-time, 30 hour per week, Recruiter / HR Generalist to join our Team.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities include, but are not limited to :
- Greets individuals in person, by phone and email that present to the HR Department
- Collaborates with the Recruiter with pre-employment processes / documentation and travel staff placement in partnership with Hiring Managers.
- Conducts or acquires background checks and employee eligibility verifications.
- Facilitates new hire orientation and employee recognition programs.
- Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to benefits, recognition, payroll, occupational health and safety.
- Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and / or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
- Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
