What are the responsibilities and job description for the Database Coordinator position at York Literacy Institute?
Responsibilities: The Database Coordinator is responsible for administration of the student database program, currently the LACES program from ProLiteracy. This includes data entry, report generation, and maintaining data integrity.
Duties:
1. Data entry of all necessary information from all departments into LACES.
2. Gather and generate reports for departments upon request.
3. Gather and submit grant report data as required.
4. Review data for accuracy.
5. Perform all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
1. Ability to communicate well with diverse audiences.
2. Clerical skills including typing of at least 40 wpm required.
3. Strong data entry skills required.
4. Computer experience with knowledge of programming.
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
Physical requirements necessary to perform the essential functions of this job. May sit, stand, walk for varying lengths of time. Occasionally lift, move and carry up to 40#. Manual dexterity necessary using hands and arms.
Work environment is a normal office environment except when traveling.
