Performance Responsibilities

Answers
multi-line telecommunication system screening calls, transferring calls,
responding to inquiries and/or taking messages.
·
Assists
other personnel in providing support of the completion of their work
activities.
·
Distributes
(e.g., mail, supplies, messages, keys) to appropriate parties.
·
Evaluates
situations (e.g., involving other staff, students, parents, the public) taking
appropriate action and/or directing to appropriate personnel for resolution.
·
Greets
(e.g., the public, parents, students, vendors) and responds to their inquiries
and/or directing them to appropriate personnel.
·
Performs
record keeping and various general and program specific clerical functions
(e.g., scheduling, copying, faxing) in support of assigned administrator and/or
site with necessary materials as may be required.
·
Processes
documents and materials for various departments.
·
Responds
to emergency calls notifying appropriate parties to address immediate safety
issues.
·
Schedules
activities (e.g., meetings, work orders, vendors, staff coverage, facilities
usage) to assist in meeting staff needs and efficient utilization of personnel,
equipment and facilities.
