Job Summary:
As a Front Desk Receptionist/Medical Assistant at YOU. Medical Spa, you will play a key role in taking excellent care of our clients, supporting our medical providers, and ensuring the smooth operation of our medspa. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, patient-focused, and has a passion for aesthetic medicine. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist medical providers with aesthetic procedures, including but not limited to injectables, laser treatments, and other cosmetic services
- Prepare treatment rooms and ensure cleanliness and sterilization of medical equipment
- Take and record patients’ medical history and vital signs
- Schedule appointments, manage patient records, and perform administrative duties as needed
- Provide pre- and post-procedure care instructions to patients
- Ensure a smooth and welcoming experience for patients from check-in to check-out
- Maintain inventory of medical supplies and restock as necessary
- Follow all safety and infection control protocols
- Perform all opening and closing duties
Qualifications:
- Medical Assistant Certification (required)
- Must have 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant, preferably in a dermatology or medspa setting
- Strong understanding of medical terminology and procedures
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Knowledge of skincare products and aesthetic procedures is a plus
- Must be reliable, professional, and compassionate

- Greet patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Manage patient check-in and check-out processes
- Schedule appointments and maintain appointment calendars
- Maintain electronic medical records and ensure accurate documentation
- Handle phone calls, emails, and inquiries promptly and efficiently
- Assist with medical collections and billing tasks as needed
*Requirements*
- Prior experience in front desk operations, preferably in a medical or dental office
- Proficiency in using electronic health record systems like Epic
- Strong communication skills and ability to interact with patients and staff effectively
- Knowledge of medical billing procedures is a plus
- Bilingual proficiency is advantageous for communicating with diverse patient populations
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 20 per week
