We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Sterilization Technician to join our healthcare team. Responsibilities
- Perform sterilization of dental instruments and equipment according to established protocols.
- Maintain accurate records of sterilization processes and ensure compliance with infection control standards.
- Assist in the preparation of treatment areas and ensure that all necessary instruments are available for procedures.
- Monitor sterilization equipment for proper function and report any malfunctions or issues.
- Collaborate with dental staff to ensure efficient workflow and patient care.
- Uphold cleanliness in all areas of the clinic, including treatment rooms, waiting areas, and sterilization stations.
- Stay informed about current best practices in infection control and sterilization techniques.
Requirements
- Knowledge of anatomy, dental terminology, and infection control practices is essential.
- Familiarity with medical imaging techniques is preferred.
- Experience in a dental clinic setting, particularly with four-handed dentistry or pediatric dentistry, is advantageous.
- Proficiency in using dental software such as Eaglesoft is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Previous experience as a dental receptionist or in endodontics is beneficial but not required.
