Site Overview:
Salvin Dental / Salvin Regenerative is a well-established leader in regenerative products and specialized surgical instrumentation for implant dentistry and oral surgery. We are known for “Everything For Your Implant Practice But The Implants®” as we are a market niche company with a product line geared to elective procedures.
Role Overview:
The operations support is responsible for the 510K product inspections, assisting with special orders and communication with sales reps, purchasing tasks, new item set up in SAP, inventory count and reconciliation, etc.
Qualifications
Responsibilities:
- 510K product inspections
- Ensures the labeling of products and inclusion of instructions with identifying information as indicated by company standards
- Assist with purchasing, back-order timing, forecasting, analytics, etc.
- Assist with special orders and communication with sales reps
- Assists with change control requests
- Assist with new item set up in SAP
- Assist with various quality items – preventative maintenance, calibrations, non-conforming material reports, etc.
- Assist with necessary cycle counts and reconciliation per inventory parts
- Performs other duties, as assigned
Qualifications:
Training and Experience
- High School Diploma or GED
- 3-5 years of relevant operations or warehouse experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Knowledge, Abilities and Skills
- Knowledge of manufacturing in a regulated environment (FDA, ISO, etc.), preferred
- Ability to work under pressure and time constraints
- Ability to be a self-starter, follow-through and have a strong sense of urgency in accomplishing goals
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Physical Requirements:
The position requires the ability to sit, stand, stoop, bend, and walk frequently during the shift; repeated twisting at the torso while lifting and pulling inventory from shelves.
Working Conditions:
Light manufacturing plant environment, with some abnormal variations in noise, dust and atmospheric conditions.
