The mentor’s role is to support their mentees by:
- mentor for youth 13-18
- Empowering them to resolve current issues and to develop coping strategies for the future.
- Provide a model for a healthy, trusting relationship through clear communication and setting appropriate boundaries. Following program curriculum set forth by developers and creating activities to coincide with weekly topics.
- Acknowledging their strengths, talents and gifts and encouraging them to find ways to use them.
- Be an active listener and offer support and encouragement when appropriate.
- Engage in activities outside of the home to help expose youth to new opportunities and experiences.

As a Youth Mentor, you will be instrumental in supporting and guiding young individuals through their personal and social development. Reporting to the Program Director, you will utilize your core skills in childcare, mentoring, and social work to foster positive relationships and promote well-being. Qualifications
- Experience working with children in various settings
