Summary:
The Sr. Director, Sales Development, is responsible for developing and delivering world-class content for Field facing events—both in-person and virtual. This role works closely with the Event’s team that oversees event logistics and planning, to ensure a seamless partnership between content and logistics. This role is also responsible for developing sales-focused programs emphasizing mindset and effective selling techniques and digital sales tools. The Sr. Director must drive cross-functional partnerships, working closely with external and internal teams to ensure measured and sustained sales growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Event Content & Training Development
- Lead the content creation and delivery for all company-hosted events, ensuring engaging, high-energy presentations aligned with company goals.
- Develop and execute on-stage training programs focused on sales psychology, mindset, and objection handling.
- Design compelling training materials, including presentations, scripts, workbooks, and videos to enhance brand partner education.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to shape content strategies that inspire and drive results.
Brand Partner Training & Digital Tools
- Oversee the development of digital training resources, ensuring alignment with field needs.
- Is a primary stakeholder working with external and internal teams to develop digital sales tools for brand partners to optimize sale initiatives, team management, enrollments, and recognition tracking.
- Continuously refine content to reflect market trends, sales best practices, and field feedback.
Presentation & Engagement
- Serve as a primary event presenter, delivering high-impact training sessions with confidence and enthusiasm.
- Develop speaker coaching guidelines and work with other presenters to ensure consistency in messaging and delivery.
- Create dynamic storytelling moments that connect with brand partners on a personal and professional level.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Strong stage presence with the ability to command an audience and drive engagement.
- Exceptional storytelling, copywriting, and content development skills.
- Deep understanding of sales psychology, mindset training, and coaching.
- Experience in creating and managing digital tools and training platforms.
- Ability to drive cross-functional collaboration with marketing, product, technology, and executive teams.
- Proficiency in crafting visually compelling presentations and training materials.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, change-driven environment with frequent travel.
Preferred Education & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- 10 years of experience in event content development, sales training, or marketing in a direct selling environment.
Required Education & Experience:

- 8 years of experience in event content development, sales training, or marketing in a direct selling environment.
- A combination of education and experience may be considered.
Supervisory Responsibility:
This job does not have supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment:
This job operates in a professional office environment. The role routinely uses standard office equipment such as a laptop, desktop, smartphone, and photocopiers. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Essential oils are worn and/or diffused in the work environment.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This position requires the incumbent to be physically present at the assigned worksite. The regular schedule is from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with an hour lunch, Monday through Friday. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand. Employees are also expected to work at least one non-convention farm event a year and to work at the annual company convention.
Exact hour requirements can be reasonably modified as necessary for the business needs by the employee’s manager.
Physical Demands:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Specific vision abilities of this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus. The employee is required to type, file, and occasionally lift office supplies up to 20 pounds. The employee must be physically able to tolerate the scent of essential oils worn or diffused.
