Young Management & Consulting is currently seeking an Associate Project Manager for construction projects located throughout the New Jersey area. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the project manager to deliver multiple projects on time and on budget.
Experience
Candidates are required to have experience in the following areas;
- Maintain Cost Management Database
- Financial forecasting
- Cost trend analysis
- Project performance analysis
- Prepare monthly progress reports
- Track Work Orders and contracts
- Inter departmental coordination
- Construction coordination
- Change order management
- QA/QC checks
- Support compilation of bid documentation
- Create Purchase orders and track spending limits
- Assist in project closeout activities
- Adhoc reviews and analysis
- Variance analysis
- Tracking RFI’s
- Contract compliance tracking
- Monitoring schedules
Desired Skills & Experience
Education:
BA/BS in Construction Workeragement, Quantity Surveying, or related Engineering Field or equivalent industry experience.
Required Experience:
- Heavy industry, infrastructure and energy sectors
- Two (2) – Five (5) years project management or controls experience
- Thoroughly understands and utilizes Information Technology in the performance of their work including Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Project.
- Able to use Excel and MS Access to advanced levels
- Experience of working on multiple projects simultaneously
