POSITION SUMMARY
The Director of IT champions the YMCA's mission, fostering its brand and reputation as a global, inclusive organization within the community. This role involves managing, evaluating, and maintaining information system technologies to ensure an efficient and positive experience across the Association. Additionally, the Director of IT upholds the core values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility in all aspects of their work with the YMCA.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Manage, implement and oversee software, hardware, and application upgrades to meet organizational needs. Provide training as needed for end users.
- Serve as the lead contact and implementation specialist for the CRM Management System, Salesforce/Traction Rec.
- Evaluate issues related to information systems for strategic planning and innovation.
- Anticipate risks, implications, and potential outcomes before taking action.
- Manage and negotiate vendors for hardware, software, and service procurement contracts, including partnerships with Zivaro and YESS Customer Services.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings through technology optimization.
- Develop and monitor IT budgets for maintaining and improving systems, including equipment and software.
- Supervise and lead IT team members, fostering professional development and ensuring performance.
- Maintain expertise in managing association networks, including servers, switches, firewalls, routers, communication lines, security systems, and phone systems.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in information technology or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Experience with Salesforce is required.
- Proficiency in Power-Bi is strongly preferred
- IT experience with an understanding of business technology needs and systems.
- Proven ability to manage projects and implement new technologies and solutions.
- Skilled in analyzing and resolving problems at both strategic and functional levels.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to train and instruct users effectively.
- Demonstrated fiscal management skills to ensure business growth and sustainability.
- Highly collaborative with executives and leaders to achieve organizational goals.
- Commitment to shared accountability, teamwork, and creative leadership.
- Must work in person a minimum of three days a week at the corporate office.
