The Child Learning Center of the YMCA of Fox Cities is hiring a Child Care Program Assistant at our licensed daycare center. Communicate effectively and efficiently with the State of Wisconsin & YoungStar, parents & guardians and staff to maintain records, files, enrollment and more. This role is all about the care & development of the children in our care. Enjoy the opportunity to step into any classroom to provide support as needed. Each day will be surrounded by smiles and giggles. Our program assistant focuses on making sure all the moving pieces of the daycare center, along with our other children's programming like Kids Corner & Growth & Development, are running like well-oiled machines.
This is a full-time position with flexible scheduling.
The Child Learning Center provides full-time childcare for children from 6 weeks old to 6 years old. The quality of care is award-winning with programming and education exceeding those of many preschools. Teachers & staff within the Y are highly-educated, trained, and considered the best-of-the-best in their field.
Applicants who do not obtain these courses are encouraged to apply. The Y can provide coursework & support to complete these requirements.
- 18 years of age or older.
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with state child care licensing and YoungStar regulations experience preferred, but not required.
- Knowledge of budget development, income & expense control, and other bookkeeping skills.
- Intermediate Microsoft Office experience required.
Lead Teacher Positions Possess one or more of the following or willing to complete within 6-months of hire, in addition to completing Introduction to Child Care Professions:
- Skills and Strategies for the Childcare teacher
- Associate’s degree or bachelor’s degree in early childhood education or education-related.
- Teacher registry certificate
