Essential Job Requirements
- Drafts legal pleadings, motions and supporting documents for court filings
- Interviews necessary parties in preparation for filings and hearing
- Regulars communication with parties and stakeholders
- Fact check documents to ensure reliable and accurate information
- Assist with the management of caseload including timelines and deadlines
- Legal research
- Coordinates discovery and follow up
- Schedules hearings and trial dates
- Assists attorney in court when needed
- Regular and timely attendance
- Other duties as assigned
Bachelor's Degree or Paralegal Certificate is required
Required Experience
- Legal experience in domestic relations law is desired
- One year experience with the judicial process.
