Position Overview
The Finance Director will oversee all financial activities of the YWCA, working collaboratively with senior leadership to ensure sound financial management, strategic planning, and alignment with our mission. This role includes managing budgets, preparing financial reports, guiding investment strategies, and fostering equitable and trauma-informed financial policies and practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Oversight :
Direct and monitor all financial activities, including managing cash flow, budgets, and grants.
Develop and implement the annual organizational budget and department-specific budgets.
Provide expert financial planning and forecasting advice to guide the organization's long-term sustainability.
Lead the finance department, ensuring processes are trauma-informed and equitable.
Serve as the staff lead for the monthly Finance Committee of the Board of Directors.
Oversee the development of grant budgets and compliance with funding guidelines.
