Youngblood Automation is looking for an energetic and motivated Inside Sales & Customer Support Representative to join our team in Grand Rapids.

As an Inside Sales & Customer Support Representative, you will be responsible for researching, processing, and resolving customer questions about products, orders, and pricing. We’ll train you on the information you need to know to help ensure your success.
Responsibilities
- Assist customers with product questions, sales, and order taking via phone, email, and chat.
- Process requests for quotations, price, delivery, order status, order expedites and technical product assistance.
- Work closely with outside sales to meet customer needs.
- Monitor open orders to ensure the process is on schedule.
- Manage Return Material Authorization requests.
- Proactively ask relevant questions to provide the best solutions for customer needs.
- Research through multiple sources when needed to determine the best product/solution for the customer.
- Use metric goals to improve job performance.
- Assist with maintaining the Customer Relationship Management database.
- Lead generation and follow up.
- Build rapport with customers, vendors, and outside sales personnel.
- Enhance product and technical knowledge by studying new product information and participating in training and educational opportunities.
Background & Experience
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in business or a technical program, or equivalent work experience.
- Customer Focus and understanding of total customer satisfaction.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and grammar.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel and other corporate productivity tools.
- Possess an energetic, outgoing, and friendly demeanor.
- Aptitude to learn about technical products and provide technical support to customers.
- Excellent people and relationship building skills.
- Customer service experience preferred.
