Position Overview:
We are looking for an experienced J.D. Edwards ERP Specialist to support and optimize our ERP initiatives, with a particular focus on the JD Edwards E1 8.12 system. In this role, you will ensure that the ERP environment is fully aligned with business goals and that it drives operational efficiency across the organization. Key Responsibilities:
ERP Management: Oversee the J.D. Edwards E1 8.12 system and its integration with other key business applications such as WMS, CRM Dynamics 365, and others to ensure smooth operations and optimal performance.
System Optimization: Identify opportunities for improvement and implement changes within the JD Edwards ERP system to enhance business processes across finance, inventory, sales, and procurement.
Project Leadership: Lead ERP-related projects such as system upgrades, migrations, and integrations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure these projects are completed on time with minimal disruption to business operations.
Business Analysis: Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Assist in configuring J.D. Edwards to meet evolving business needs and objectives.
Support and Troubleshooting: Provide expert-level support for the J.D. Edwards E1 8.12 system, ensuring issues are resolved quickly and root causes are identified and addressed.
Collaboration: Collaborate with IT staff, business leaders, and external vendors to ensure seamless ERP integration with other systems and business functions.
Documentation and Training: Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, processes, and troubleshooting procedures. Provide training to internal teams to ensure best practices in ERP functionalities.
Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 5 years experience supporting, configuring, and optimizing J.D. Edwards ERP systems (E1 8.12 or similar).
Education: Bachelor s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
Technical Skills: Strong expertise in JD Edwards E1 modules, especially in Finance, Supply Chain, and Procurement. Familiarity with ERP integration tools and related technologies such as IBM iSeries, webMethods, and DB2.
Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex ERP issues, implementing effective and sustainable solutions.
Project Management: Experience managing ERP projects, including migrations, upgrades, and customizations. Familiarity with project management methodologies is a plus.
Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with business stakeholders, IT teams, and external vendors.
Desired Skills:
- Experience with ERP migrations or upgrades, especially in multi-location or multi-region environments.
- Knowledge of related systems such as WMS, CRM, BI tools (e.g., QlikView, SAP), and eCommerce platforms (e.g., Shopify).
- Familiarity with modern ERP systems like Infor M3 is a plus.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage competing priorities.
