Responsibilities
- Plan and design menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, ensuring consistency in taste and presentation.
- Grocery shopping per diem to handpick the freshest ingredients needed.
- Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies as needed to maintain stock without over-purchasing.
- Ensure compliance with health regulations regarding food safety and sanitation practices.
- Fully clean the kitchen and all necessary cooking equipment after service is provided.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Personal Chef in a private home.
- Strong knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations.
- Experience in menu planning and cooking for clients with food allergies and special diets.
- Strong foundation in diverse cuisines.
- Highly skilled in preparing both classic and contemporary dishes, with an emphasis on heart-healthy cooking and the Mediterranean diet.
