What Are We Looking For?
Your Health is currently looking for a Referral Coordinator to join our growing urgent care family. The role of the Referral Coordinator is responsible for managing referrals and fostering effective communication with patients The position entails promptly addressing referrals, with a strong emphasis on follow-up and follow-through. In addition to managing incoming calls and maintain patient satisfaction, the Referral Coordinator is responsible for ensuring referral are delivered promptly and appropriately while deliver smooth registration process for new patients and efficient appointment scheduling for new and existing patients.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required, while an Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare is preferred.
- Preferred CMA, LPN or RN
- Previous experience in a medical or healthcare setting, preferably a scheduling or administrative role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work effectively under pressure
