Immigration Attorney

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Immigration Attorney to join our legal team in Miami, FL. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in U.S. immigration law, excellent client advocacy skills, and the ability to manage a diverse caseload. This role involves representing clients in various immigration matters, including family-based petitions, employment-based visas, deportation defense, asylum applications, and citizenship proceedings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide legal counsel and representation for individuals and businesses in immigration-related cases.
• Prepare and file petitions, applications, and supporting documentation for visas, green cards, naturalization, and other immigration benefits.
• Represent clients in hearings before immigration courts, the Board of Immigration Appeals (BIA), and other administrative bodies.
• Conduct legal research and stay updated on changes in immigration laws, policies, and procedures.
• Work with clients to gather necessary evidence and documentation for case submissions.
• Advise clients on compliance with immigration regulations and employment eligibility.
• Collaborate with paralegals, case managers, and other team members to ensure timely case processing.
• Handle appeals and waivers as needed.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in good standing with the Florida Bar.
• 2 years of experience practicing immigration law preferred.
• Strong understanding of U.S. immigration laws, including family-based and employment-based petitions, removal defense, and humanitarian relief.
• Excellent research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is highly preferred due to Miami’s diverse population.
• Ability to manage multiple cases and work under deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively with clients from diverse backgrounds.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $95,000.00 per year
