Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Arborist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for tree care and landscape maintenance, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. This role involves ensuring the health and safety of trees, providing expert care, and maintaining beautiful landscapes for our clients.
Duties
- Perform tree trimming and pruning to promote healthy growth and enhance aesthetics.
- Operate bucket trucks and other equipment safely to access high branches.
- Conduct thorough assessments of tree health, identifying diseases or pests that may affect growth.
- Implement tree care practices including fertilization, watering, and pest management.
- Assist in landscape maintenance tasks such as lawn care and garden upkeep.
- Collaborate with team members on various projects, ensuring quality work and adherence to safety protocols.
- Maintain equipment, including rigs and tools, ensuring they are in good working condition.
Experience
- Proven experience in landscape maintenance or arboriculture is preferred.
- Familiarity with tree trimming techniques and tree care practices.
- Experience operating bucket trucks and other landscaping equipment is a plus.
- Knowledge of growing conditions for various trees and plants.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to recognize potential issues in tree health.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $22.00 - $33.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 50 per week
