Sales Arborist

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Arborist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for Arboriculture and horticulture tree care and a strong understanding of the current industry standard practices. This role involves assessing a entire landscapes health, providing maintenance services, and ensuring the safety and aesthetics of our clients' landscapes. The salesperson will work closely with clients to develop tailored solutions that meet their needs while promoting sustainable practices.

Duties

• Conduct thorough assessments of trees, gardens, lawns, and overall site health to determine health, structure, and potential hazards.
• Develop and implement care plans that include pruning, fertilization, pest management, and disease control.
• Collaborate with clients to provide exceptional customer service and ensure satisfaction with services rendered.
• Engage in business development activities such as cold calling potential clients and upselling additional services.
• Manage accounts effectively by maintaining relationships with existing clients and identifying opportunities for growth.
• Analyze customer needs to provide tailored solutions that enhance tree health and landscape aesthetics.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss sales strategies, account management, and collaboration efforts within the organization.
• engage and lead work fairs and career fairs related to sales, enlistment, and retention of the company workforce.

Experience

• Proven experience in horticulture and arboriculture or a related field is preferred.
• Strong skills in collaboration sales, B2B interactions, and business development are highly desirable.
• Experience in inside sales, account management, and customer service will be beneficial for this role.
• Familiarity with cold calling techniques and sales management practices is an asset.
• A background in upselling services to enhance client satisfaction is advantageous.

Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week
