Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated Crew Leader to oversee and coordinate landscaping and Tree services. Our teams maintain outdoor spaces, ensuring they are visually appealing and well-kept.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and direct crew members in various tasks related to garden, tree care, lawn care, irrigation, and groundskeeping, grading, drainage, chemical application, etc.
- Maintain and enhance landscapes by planting, pruning, fertilizing, and watering plants.
- Lead the team in performing landscape maintenance duties such as mowing, edging, weeding, and mulching.
- Build and maintain outdoor structures like walls, patios, & walkways.
- Ensure equipment is effectively maintained, and stored.
- Implement safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Perform quality control on services provided and ensure customer satisfaction and communication remains excellent.
Qualifications:
****PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUNDS IN LEADERSHIP, MANAGEMENT, TRADES, AND BUSINESS ARE ALLOWED TO APPLY EVEN IF NO PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE IN THESE FIELDS. - Previous experience in landscaping or groundskeeping with a focus on safety and quality.
- YPGA will mentor and train in areas of leadership and management.
- Proficiency in landscape maintenance techniques including tree care, lawn care, and irrigation.
- Strong mature leadership attributes expected for this position. Professional, timely, tidy in appearance, polite, and looking to grow as an individual and looking to grow the team.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Knowledge of plant care, horticulture practices, arboricultural practices, and groundskeeping equipment operation & maintenance.

Pay: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week
