Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Arborist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for tree care and landscape maintenance, with a strong understanding of horticultural practices. This role involves working outdoors in various weather conditions, utilizing specialized equipment to ensure the health and safety of trees within our service areas. The Arborist will play a crucial role in promoting sustainable practices while enhancing the beauty of our landscapes.
Duties
- Perform tree care activities including pruning, trimming, and removal of trees as necessary.
- Conduct assessments of tree health and provide recommendations for treatment or care.
- Utilize equipment such as bucket trucks and rigs to safely access and maintain trees.
- Implement landscape maintenance tasks including lawn care and garden upkeep.
- Maintain accurate records of tree care activities and client interactions using GIS technology.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations and high-quality service delivery.
- Educate clients on proper tree care practices and landscape management.
Experience
- Proven experience in tree care or arboriculture is preferred, with knowledge of landscape maintenance techniques.
- Familiarity with GIS technology for mapping and managing tree inventories is a plus.
- Proficiency in operating tracked lifts, bucket trucks and other relevant equipment safely.
- Strong understanding of horticultural principles related to growing healthy trees and landscapes.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
- Skilled climber in both ropes and climbing spurs

Pay: From $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week
