Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Warehouse/Driver to join our team. This role involves both warehouse operations and driving responsibilities, ensuring efficient delivery and handling of goods. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial driving, warehouse operations, and the ability to perform heavy lifting. This position is essential for maintaining our logistics and supply chain efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Operate a box truck for deliveries, ensuring timely and safe transportation of goods to designated locations.
- Load and unload products using a pallet jack and other equipment as necessary.
- Perform warehouse duties including inventory management, organization of stock, and maintaining a clean work environment.
- Assist in moving products within the warehouse as well as preparing items for shipment.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations while driving and handling materials.
- Conduct routine checks on the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition, including manual transmission operation when required.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and improve operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) preferred but not mandatory; experience in delivery driving is essential.
- Proven experience in warehouse operations with knowledge of loading/unloading procedures.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) consistently throughout the shift.
- Familiarity with operating a pallet jack and other warehouse equipment.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing inventory.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- A positive attitude with a commitment to providing excellent service in all aspects of the role.
