About the Job:
We are looking for a driven Network Administrator who possesses a passion for pushing mobile / web technologies to the limits and will work with our team of talented engineers to help host, maintain, secure, and update our platforms which include using open-source LINUX, WordPress, PHP, Apache, MySQL, Node JS, WP Engine, Nextiva, LiquidWeb, Etc.
Responsibilities:
- Assess IT Infrastructure on a regular basis to ensure it continues to meet necessary demands.
- Manage daily operations of the IT Department including ownership of WP Engine, LiquidWeb, and Nextiva accounts.
- Develop new strategies and IT procedures to increase efficiency, enhance workflow, and improve customer satisfaction.
- Protect in-house and customer data from outside infiltration encryption, secure data storage, and other necessary means.
- Assist with installation of new hardware and software.
- Collaborate with other departments (customer relations, sales, graphics, etc.) to manage reputation, identify key players and coordinate actions.
Minimum Qualifications:
- MIS / IT Background
- Bachelor’s degree Required
- WP Engine, LiquidWeb & Nextiva experience desired
- Cloud Based Hosting – AWS Preferred
- Hosting of Websites / Environments
- Attention to detail, and a customer-oriented approach with multi-tasking and organizational ability.
