WHO WE ARE
Youth Advocate Services (YAS) is a non-profit organization dedicated to Promoting Positive Futures for youth and families in Central Ohio through 3 family-centered, community-based programs: Behavioral Health, Foster Care (including Pre- and Post-Adoption Support Services), and Ohio Early Intervention. We believe that sound, culturally-competent, clinically relevant services should be available and easily accessible to all regardless of socioeconomic status. WHAT YOU’LL DO
· You will provide community based services that encourage and support progress towards treatment plan goals.
· You will coordinate and provide care that is safe, timely, effective, efficient and client centered.
· You will work under the supervision of a licensed staff member.
· You will interact with clients and their families in their homes, school and community to best meet their individual needs.
· You will meet agency service standards by completing required training and appropriate documentation/paperwork within strict deadlines.

Requirements
WHO YOU ARE
You must have at least a bachelor’s degree in human services related studies. You might have 1-2 years related experience that you can build upon for success in this role. You work well with culturally diverse populations/families and can respect the homes you visit. Details do not escape you and you use your supports to make sound judgements. You have a valid driver’s license and can meet the minimum liability auto insurance as specified by agency policy.
