Job Overview :
Seeking an experienced Senior Human Resources Generalist to join YFA's dynamic HR team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing various day-to-day HR functions, such as Leave of Absence (LOA) management, oversight of external audits for YFA's funders / contracts, overseeing all employee relations, and supporting the HR Department. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with strong time-management skills and an in-depth understanding of HR policies and procedures.
Employee Relations
- Partner with Program Directors and provide assistance with administering Corrective Action Performance (CAPs) notices and Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs) effectively
- Deliver CAPs onsite in conjunction with the Program Director and / or Assistant Program Director
- Follow up with the program to ensure documentation, training, and support are provided to the employee related to the CAP
- Oversee the onboarding process to ensure that candidates are moving through the hiring process timely and efficiently
- Conducting investigations regarding employee grievances, harassment, and other types of investigations
Leave of Absence Management
Audit Oversight and Record Keeping
Compliance and Other Duties as Assigned
Location : 7524 Plathe Rd, New Port Richey, FL 34653
Schedule : Hybrid schedule with 3 office days and 2 remote days upon completing introductory period
Salary : Starting salary $55,000 per year
Requirements : WHAT YOU NEED :
The ideal candidate will have a strong HR Generalist background, knowledge of HR employment laws and best practices, ensure compliance, follow agency and external standards, and oversee various HR functions and projects.
Education and Experience :
Physical Requirements : Ability to lift 30 pounds, bend, stand and sit for extended periods of time. Travel on a local and regional basis required. Up to 20% travel, visiting all YFA site locations.
