POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for the supervision and coordination of quality services and staff of a SNAP® case management team focused on the provision of case management services for SNAP® services.
What You Will Do
- Hires, supervises, evaluates, disciplines and terminates staff in the SNAP® services
- Develops and ensures the implementation of an annual SNAP® work plan, participates in long-term planning
- Maintains regular communication with designated Florida Network Staff for program consultation and fidelity adherence monitoring for the SNAP® services
- Completes SNAP® for Youth Facilitator Training and all other required trainings
- Ensures equipment set up for groups (Raspberry Pi, Tablets, projector/TV, speakers, camera, etc.);
- Facilitates SNAP® for Youth Groups and completes fidelity adherence checklist for weekly groups
- Responsible for coordinating with stakeholders to streamline referral process
- Ensures that team pre and de-briefing meetings occur for each group session with all SNAP® for Youth Case Manager
- Responsible for the day-to-day operation of the SNAP® for Youth services
- Ensure all data and/or videos are entered within three (3) business days into OneDrive
- Maintains adherence to completion timeline for NETMIS, JJIS, SNAP Data Collection Spreadsheet
- Ensures all intake and discharge data/measures are collected (SSIS, SSIS 2, and HIT)
- Ensures all client files are complete, accurate and comprehensive with updated information recorded in a timely manner
- Willingness to work nontraditional business hours including evenings when Groups are scheduled
- Ensures thorough selection, supervision, coordination, and evaluation of staff and volunteers
- Liaises with relevant community agencies and maintains ongoing contact with Law Enforcement Agencies, Child Welfare Agencies, School Boards and other relevant stakeholders
- Submits monthly invoice documents as required; monitors professional quality and maintenance of record keeping consistent with regulations and agency policies
- Monitors and evaluates adherence to and effectiveness of practices and strategies for individuals impacted by trauma.
WHAT YOU NEED:
Education & Experience
- A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or relevant human service degree required. Master’s degree (preferred) with a minimum of 5 years of experience in one or more of the following areas: social services, juvenile justice, court-involved youth/families, program management or administration, program monitoring.
- Preferred knowledge and understanding of trauma-informed principles and practices, including the importance of creating a safe environment, fostering trust, promoting collaboration, and empowering individuals.
- Ability to manage personal reactions to traumatic stories and situations and communicate a sense of trust and safety. Ability to understand and empathize with individuals, recognizing the impact of trauma on emotions, relationships, and overall well-being.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- Communicate and maintain working relationships with internal and external contacts.
- Ability to facilitate large/small groups and navigate varied group dynamics.
- Ability to work cooperatively in a group/team setting.
- Ability to take guidance and direction from supervisors.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites.
- Skilled in actively listening to concerns, providing a safe space for individuals to express themselves without judgment or blame.
