The Program Coordinator will oversee and manage the logistics of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) Tobacco Inspection Program in North Carolina, ensuring smooth operations and compliance with state and federal guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Assign and schedule inspections across all 100 counties.
- Ensure FDA Commissioned Inspectors and Underage Purchasers are properly trained and certified.
- Coordinate with state and federal program officials for compliance reporting.
- Monitor and ensure timely submission of monthly and quarterly reports.
- Support legal and enforcement actions by compiling required documents and testimonies.
- Develop and implement program management protocols to enhance efficiency.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in public administration, criminal justice, or a related field.
- 2 years of experience in program coordination, compliance, or regulatory enforcement.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to manage a statewide field team and work with federal stakeholders.
- Must pass a federal background check.
