YFC Northern Indiana is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Engagement Lead to lead and manage vendor and partner relationships and plan and execute major events such as our premiere golf outing at Sycamore Hills and our City Life Luncheon. This role also ensures the highest quality in all YFC events, including meet and greets, golf outings, our We Believe In You(th) Campaign Rallies, and other events. This role involves managing event budgets, overseeing communication channels—including email, SMS, and social media—and driving engagement to support YFC’s mission. The ideal candidate has experience in event planning, strong organizational and budget management skills, and proficiency in communication platforms.

Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities
- Lead & Manage vendor/partner relationships in the events space
- Cultivate and maintain strong, mutually beneficial relationships with key vendors and partners to ensure the successful execution of events. Oversee the selection, negotiation, and management of external service providers, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, budget constraints, and event timelines. Serve as the primary point of contact, addressing any issues that arise and fostering long-term partnerships.
- Plan & Execute all major events, including golf outings, luncheons and lead and manage the team to be successful
- Take full ownership of the end-to-end event planning and execution process for high-profile events such as golf outings, luncheons, and conferences. Develop comprehensive event strategies, timelines, and task assignments, ensuring all logistics are meticulously coordinated. Lead cross-functional teams to achieve seamless execution while driving engagement, promoting brand image, and ensuring an unforgettable attendee experience.
- Manage event budgets
- Oversee the creation and management of detailed event budgets, ensuring all expenditures are tracked, optimized, and within allocated limits. Develop cost-saving strategies without compromising the quality of the events. Provide regular financial reports to leadership and adjust plans as necessary to remain on budget, addressing any financial discrepancies promptly.
- Ensure quality with ALL YFC events by leading and managing teams to host regional events
- Take charge of quality assurance across all YFC events, working closely with internal teams to ensure every event meets the highest standards of excellence. Lead teams in the planning, coordination, and execution of regional events, fostering collaboration and accountability to deliver outstanding results. Provide guidance and support to team members, ensuring smooth event flow and customer satisfaction.
- Manage all communication engagement, including email, sms, and social media platforms
- Oversee and execute all communication strategies for event promotions and engagement, including crafting and distributing targeted email campaigns, SMS notifications, and social media content. Develop engaging messaging that resonates with key audiences and drives event attendance and participation. Monitor engagement metrics across platforms, adjusting strategies to maximize impact and ensure clear, consistent communication.
