Course Success Coordinator

Youth on Course is a nationally recognized non-profit based in Monterey, CA serving over 200,000 youth through subsidized rounds of golf, high school internships, and college scholarships. Additionally, Youth on Course recently launched an exciting alumni product to continue servicing Youth on Course members into adulthood. Youth on Course continues to experience rapid growth with a presence throughout the US, Canada, and Australia.

 

Position: Course Success Coordinator

Status: Non-Exempt

Reports to: Course Partnership Manager

The Course Success Coordinator position fulfills a key role within Youth on Course’s success team as an integral component of the organization’s growth opportunity. Success in this position hinges on the ability to implement, support, and steward Youth on Course’s partner golf courses. Attainment will be measured by the organization’s ability to retain and engage with our network of participating facilities. As such, this role must demonstrate the ability to work independently, learn quickly, and combine a strong work ethic with a collaborative, team-oriented attitude. This position will receive general guidance from various members of the organization and must utilize the technology systems provided to track all relevant activities.

 

●        Support the Course Partnerships and Partner Success teams to ensure interested golf courses are implemented in a way that will make them successful with Youth on Course. Assist new partner courses in onboarding, including setting up their profiles and logging rounds.

●        Utilize the provided ticketing system and respond to all support requests according to defined SLAs. Act as a liaison to mediate and resolve any conflicts between members and courses, ensuring a positive experience for all parties.

●        Work closely with the Course Partnerships and Partner Success teams on touch points in the course sales lifecycle, and build and execute email communications to current, former, and potential course partners. Assist with the execution of a stewardship program for partner courses.

●        Regularly import relevant course data such as GolfNow bookings and updates to the Facility database.

●        Regularly analyze course performance metrics (e.g., utilization rates, subsidy costs, and member satisfaction scores) and provide actionable feedback to improve outcomes. Regularly audit data to ensure its integrity, highlight successes, and identify needs.

●        Collect and document feedback from partner courses through surveys or interviews to ensure program improvements align with partner needs. Actively assist in the annual recap process for partner course agreements to ensure long-term retention.

●        Work with various departments to plan and execute strategies and activities to increase engagement with new and existing course partners.

●        Attend necessary meetings, educational seminars, and other related functions. Travel sporadically and always represent Youth on Course in a professional and impressive manner.

●        Other duties as assigned, including professional development.

 

 

 

●        GED with 2 years of experience in customer service.

●        Strong familiarity with golf.

●        Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

●        Comfort and confidence to talk to golf course operators on the phone and in person.

●        Supreme organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage logistics for multiple initiatives simultaneously.

●        No fear around adopting new technologies.

●        Ability to adapt in a rapidly growing organization.

●        Must have a valid US driver's license.

●        This position is based in Monterey, CA. Remote applicants will not be considered at this time.

●        College degree.

●        Nonprofit experience.

●        Experience working at or being around public golf course(s).

●        Proficiency with Salesforce and/or Hubspot.

●        Familiarity with data analysis to inform sales and partnership strategy.

●        A passion for helping youth gain access to life-changing opportunities.

●        Typically Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm.

●        Some late nights and weekend work required though.

●        Travel up to 10% of the job, including driving and air travel.

This is a full-time, Non-Exempt position, with a starting wage of $23.00 - $27.00 per hour. Some clothing will be provided, with the employee expected to source and maintain a high-standard of attire at all times. Participation in the company’s 401k plan after one full year of employment, PTO leave, and golf benefits also included.
