- Prepare and track financial reports for internal and external stakeholders, including grant funders and donors.
- Assist with the preparation of budgets and forecasts, ensuring alignment with programmatic goals.
- Manage all aspects of grant reporting and tracking, including compliance with government and private funders’ requirements.
- Monitor and maintain accurate records for all restricted and unrestricted funds.
- Collaborate closely with program directors and senior leadership to provide financial insights that support decision-making.
- Assist with annual audits and the preparation of reports.
- Maintain accounting software and systems, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation.
What We’re Looking For:
- 3-5 years of hands-on experience in bookkeeping, specifically in nonprofit organizations.
- Solid understanding of grant management, public funding, and related reporting requirements.
- Experience working with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar).
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders in a hybrid work environment.
- A passion for the nonprofit sector and a commitment to supporting mission-driven work.
- Ability to work independently and be flexible in a hybrid work environment.
Why You’ll Love Working With Us:
- Hybrid Flexibility: Enjoy the balance of working from home and engaging with our team in the office.
- Impactful Work: Your work will directly contribute to the growth and success of our programs, benefiting the communities we serve.
- Collaborative Culture: Be part of a supportive and passionate team that’s dedicated to making a difference.
