Job Summary: The Human Resources Coordinator (HRC) is responsible for YSS’ recruitment strategy and recommendations of long-range hiring plans in collaboration with Manager. This person will be the voice and face for hiring. The HRC is responsible for collaborating with Media & Communications to optimize and execute recruitment activities and feature open positions. This employee is responsible for attending hiring events, job fairs, and the development of in-house and regional recruitment talent pools. This employee will be proficient in explaining YSS’ policies and procedures in orientation.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Manage all digital job posting and recruitment websites such as really, Handshake, Workforce WV, and other job boards
· Assist with developing and implementing onboarding programs
· Track, complete, and report open positions weekly
· Responsible for espousing YSS culture and expectations in a welcoming manner
· Identify new recruiting sources and best practices to recruit quality candidates
· Ensures accuracy of all job postings
· Responsible for date entry and verification of all new hire documents including i9 documents, vehicle insurance and registration; and education verification
· Arrange pre-employment checks including, physicals, health screens, background checks and all other pre-employment check as specified
· Maintain up-to-date background re-verifications and identify inactive candidate applications
· Assist with interviews as requested by hiring managers
· Provide accurate and hospitable communication to candidates until they are placed with their supervisor
· Respond to employee inquiries regarding job postings and job requirements
· Coordinate with managers with recruitment and onboarding scheduling
· Identify and communicate hire delays of candidates to CEO and hiring manager
· Complete residential and correctional phone screens
· Ensure all new hires sign required documents and upload to personnel file
· Assist with maintaining current personnel training records for license audits
· Manage applications and background check for volunteers
· Follow-up with hiring managers of approval of hire for applicants
· Point of contact for of the Youth Employment Specialists to assist with enrollment of Y.O.U. participants in payroll servicer
· Point of contact for applicants throughout the hiring and onboarding process until released to hiring manager
· Clearly communicate YSS ethical boundaries and Code of Conduct expectations
· Maintain highest level of discretion and confidentiality regarding all employee information
· Assist in employee referral process and review applications
· Attend all required trainings
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $51,000.00 per year
