Bilingual Cosmetology Instructor

Overview
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Cosmetology Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various cosmetology practices and a desire to educate and inspire future beauty professionals. This role involves teaching students the essential skills needed in the cosmetology field, including hair styling, makeup application, and aesthetic treatments, while fostering a creative and supportive learning environment.

Duties

• Educate students on a wide range of cosmetology techniques, including hair styling, hair extensions, body waxing, and barbering.
• Instruct students in advanced techniques such as deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and aesthetic treatments.
• Develop lesson plans that align with industry standards and ensure comprehensive coverage of all necessary topics.
• Provide hands-on training and demonstrations to enhance student learning experiences.
• Assess student performance through practical evaluations and written tests to ensure competency in skills taught.
• Maintain an engaging classroom environment that encourages student participation and creativity.
• Stay updated on the latest trends and techniques in the beauty industry to provide current knowledge to students.
• Ensure compliance with all state regulations regarding cosmetology education.

Qualifications

• Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish (required)
• Valid cosmetology license with teaching credentials (required).
• Proven 6 years of experience in the cosmetology field with expertise in hair styling, makeup application, body waxing, barbering, and aesthetic treatments.
• 3–4 years of teaching experience in a cosmetology education setting (required)
• Strong communication skills with the ability to educate diverse groups of students effectively.
• Passion for teaching and mentoring future professionals in the beauty industry.
• Ability to demonstrate advanced techniques such as deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy is a plus.
• A commitment to maintaining a positive learning environment that promotes student success.
