Under the general direction of the Assistant Superintendent, Educational Services (or designee), is responsible for all duties related to the planning, development, coordination, implementation, and evaluation of the district’s special education programs and services; directs all health and psychological services for the district; and assumes significant levels of liability and/or legal authority on behalf of the district while performing the duties of the position. EMPLOYMENT STANDARDS:
Education: Master’s Degree required.
Experience Required: Five (5) years full-time teaching, guidance and counseling, or other service experience while under an authorized California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CCTC) credential or equivalent, as well as administrative experience as a school site principal. Experience with special education curriculum, assessment, and services, as well as student services in general, is desirable.
Licenses, Certifications, and/or Testing Required: Administrative Services credential, valid California Class C driver’s license and evidence of insurability, TB test clearance, pre-employment physical and drug test clearance, Criminal Justice fingerprint clearance.
Salary : $158,407 - $189,963
