TITLE OF POSITION : CHILD NUTRITION SERVICESWORKER I
DESCRIPTION OF POSITION : Under the direction of the Director of Child Nutrition Services, prepares and provides food items for general consumption by students and school personnel and maintains sanitary conditions of facility.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS :
- Prepares food and beverage items that meet mandated nutritional requirements for the purpose of general consumption by students and providing items to other school personnel.
- Serves one or more items of food for the purpose of maintaining adequate quantities and security of items.
- Stocks food, condiments and supplies for the purpose of maintaining adequate quantities and security of items.
- Inspects one or more items of food and / or supplies for the purpose of verifying quantity and specifications of orders.
- Cleans utensils, equipment and the area of storage, food preparation and serving for the purpose of maintaining facilities in a sanitary condition.
- Prepares documentation for the purpose of providing written support and / or conveying information.
- Counts cash receipts and maintains simple records.
ESSENTIAL JOB REQUIREMENTS - QUALIFICATIONS :

Must have a current food handler's permit from the San Bernardino County Health Department.
