Senior User Experience Designer
Location: Onsite (Atlanta)
As a Senior UX Designer, you will be the expert UX practitioner, guiding others in user-centered methodologies (UCD), UX principles, best practices, design management, and project governance.
We are looking for an outstanding portfolio from you. Mandatory Portfolio requirement: Highlight 2-3 case studies showcasing significant evidence of methodically informed designs for complex B2B systems, web applications, mobile apps, and other digital products.
Must Have:
- Lead UX engagements as the pivotal connection between customers and the design team.
- Become the thought leader who provides strategic project direction, overcomes challenges, and manages design and delivery.
- Plan and conduct primary and secondary research, deriving holistic insights with strong business relevance and impact.
- Create compelling design concepts based on these insights as part of the UX strategy.
- Manage and deliver hands-on project activities related to Interaction Design (IXD), Visual Design (VD), and development.
- Present design decisions to stakeholders backed by solid business rationale, design principles, and industry practices.
- Collaborate with technology teams to bring designs to life.
- Ensure the quality and timely delivery of all projects.
- Track milestones and effort hours to meet deadlines effectively.
Critical Selection Criteria:
- Deep expertise in practicing all activities using UCD methodology, with 12 years of robust industry experience.
- Mastery with design tools such as Figma- clickable prototypes (is a must) and the Adobe Creative Suite, combined with in-depth knowledge of design principles, composition, typography, and other visual elements.
- Extensive experience with user personas, user journeys and high fidelity clickable prototypes is a must.
- Proven ability to plan and conduct complex B2B UX engagements.
- Experience in designing for various devices and systems.
- The ability to initiate business discussions with program managers, CTOs, CIOs, and CEOs.
- Maturity and openness to navigate challenging business scenarios and resolve conflicts.
- Excellent interpersonal communication, negotiation, presentation, and client relations management skills.
- A keen interest in observing human behavior and synthesizing insights into design.
- A clear and compelling presenting style to influence key design decisions and maintain credibility.
- An organized working style, exceptional time management skills, and attention to detail.
- Managing individual tasks efficiently while receiving strategic and tactical direction from management and stakeholders.
