Position Summary : Serves as the first point of contact for patients when they enter the medical facility. Greet and help check-in patients, assist with necessary paperwork and fulfill other customer service or other duties as assigned. Understanding of patient care policies, communicates patient care needs with other departments, help employee health during New Employee Orientation (NEO) and pick up labs from numerous departments as needed.
Position Qualifications :
Minimum Education : No High School diploma
Minimum Experience : One year experience in a position that requires dealing with the public preferred.
License, Certification, Registration : None required
Equipment / Tools : Computer, Multiline telephone system, copy / print / scan machine and other general office equipment.
Specialized Knowledge and Skills : Able to communicate with easy medical terms for patients. Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing. Yup’ik speaker preferred.
