PRIMARY FUNCTION
This employee is responsible for the operation of technical computer systems related to the Air Combat Training System (ACTS) and Unmanned Threat Emitters (UMTE). This employee will be responsible and required to possess a detailed operational knowledge of systems within ACTS.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Determines sequence of operations by implementing production schedule.
- Ensures equipment are operational for daily use
- Knows commands to enter to start operations
- Maintains operations by monitoring error and stoppage messages; observing peripheral equipment; entering commands to correct errors and stoppages; making adjustments in the process; notifying supervisor for additional resources.
- Documents operational problems and actions by completing production logs.
- Ensures operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements and tests; following manufacturer’s instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs; maintain equipment inventories; evaluating new equipment and techniques.
- Resolves user problems by answering questions and requests.
- Maintains client confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Supports management during all Government reviews and meetings.
- Other duties as requested.

- Data Processing, Data Center Experience, Informing others, Reporting Skills, Supply Management, Independence, Productivity, Confidentiality, Documentation Skills, Equipment Maintenance, Problem Solving, Multi-tasking.
- Knowledge of military tactics and ordnance safety.
- Operators shall be qualified and responsible for operations of the ACTS and UMTE systems so as to be interchangeable between positions/systems as follows:
- ACTS
- EW/Smokey SAM
- Microsoft Office
- Excel
- Presentation and ability to give presentation to large audience.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- H.S. Diploma or equivalent
- Data Processing, Data Center Experience, Informing Others, Reporting Skills, Supply Management, Independence, Productivity, Confidentiality, Documentation Skills, Equipment Maintenance, Problem Solving, Computers
- Knowledgeable with:
- ACTS
- EW/Smokey SAM
- Microsoft Office
- Excel
- Must be able to pass a DoD background check and obtain SECRET security clearance.
