PRIMARY FUNCTION
The Manufacturing Associate Manager is responsible for leading a multi-functional workgroup to ensure on-time missile deliveries that meet engineering and quality requirements while managing costs to meet program objectives. This role requires leadership in operations, team management, and process improvement activities to enhance manufacturing efficiency and effectiveness.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Oversee day-to-day operations of a multi-functional team.
- Execute strategies to ensure on-time delivery, cost control, and compliance with engineering and quality standards.
- Provide status updates on quality, performance, and scheduling.
- Manage exempt and non-exempt personnel in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Perform manpower planning, employee assessments, training, work assignments, and performance evaluations.
- Support Environmental, Safety, and Health (ESH) initiatives by ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
- Drive continuous improvement efforts by identifying inefficiencies and implementing solutions.
- Lead process improvement activities from ideation to implementation.
- Interface with program senior management, government and military officials, vendors, and suppliers.
