PRIMARY FUNCTION

The Project Manager is responsible for the coordination and completion of projects and reports to the division Program Manager.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Oversees all aspects of projects.

Oversees daily activities required in accordance with statement of work

Sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities, and monitors and summarizes progress of project.

Prepares reports for upper management regarding status of project. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected with minimum to no supervision.

Establish work schedules

Develops and manages budgets for assigned projects.

Prepare price quotes and ROMs of projects.

Responsible for CDRL reporting

Provides subcontractor and vendor oversight to ensure successful project execution.

Assist Senior Program Manager with developing policies and procedures to support contract requirements.

Interface with the government lead and DCMA on a regular basis.

Reviews, writes and processes proposal documentation.

Other duties may be assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES :

This position will manage direct reports and perform exempt level decision making including interviewing, hiring, terminating, performance reviews, and performance corrections. This position has the responsibility and authority to carry out assigned tasks.

QUALIFICATIONS :

Experience on CH-47 platform and other aircraft platforms to include aviation maintenance, aircraft modifications, and installations.

Experience with design and development and build-to-print projects.

Ability to interpret drawings, procedures, schematics, operating manuals and maintenance instructions.

BA / BS degree required in Business, Management, Engineering, or Science or equivalent with at least 8-10 year's experience in Program / Project Management

Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.

This position requires a strong attention to detail and follow through, use of independent judgment, and excellent communication and people management skills.

Must be able to obtain and maintain a Government Security Clearance
