Summary:
The Clinical Education Transitional to Practice (TTP) Coordinator plays a pivotal role in facilitating the smooth transition of new graduate nurses into professional practice within the organization. This individual adapts to changing priorities and works effectively in a fast-paced health-care setting. The Coordinator will demonstrate the ability to lead and collaborate effectively.
Responsibilities:
Develops and designs a comprehensive Transitional to Practice program tailored to meet the specific needs of new graduate nurses entering the workforce.
Coordinates and oversees the implementation of the TTP program, ensuring that all components are effectively executed according to established timelines and objectives.
Collaborates with subject matter experts and educational resources to develop curriculum content for the TTP program, incorporating evidence-based practices and relevant learning experiences.
Provides guidance, support, and mentorship to new graduate nurses throughout the transition period, addressing their concerns, providing resources, and fostering professional growth and development.
Conducts ongoing evaluation and assessment of the TTP program to measure its effectiveness, identify areas for improvement, and make necessary adjustments to enhance program outcomes.
Collaborates with internal stakeholders, including nursing leadership, preceptors, educators, and other relevant departments, to ensure alignment of the TTP program with organizational goals and objectives.
Ensures compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies related to new graduate nurse orientation and transition programs. Maintains accurate documentation and records of program activities, participant progress, and outcomes.
Stays abreast of best practices, trends, and advancements in nursing education, transition programs, and professional development to continuously enhance the effectiveness of the TTP program.

- BASIC LIFE SUPPORT (BLS)
- REGISTERED NURSE (RN)
Education:

- MASTER'S DEGREE
Other information:
Required:
- A Master of Science in Nursing
- RN: Registered Nurse licensed by Arizona State board of Nursing
5 years clinical experience in a healthcare environment. Project management experience; experience in a leadership role.
