What are the responsibilities and job description for the Press Operator Apprentice position at Yuma Sun?
The Yuma Sun is seeking a full time entry level apprentice for our pressroom.
Duties will include assisting press crew with production of printed products and include maintaining and servicing the press/equipment and delivering product while performing work related duties as assigned.
Must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver's license, insurance and clean driving record. Must be able to work flexible evening and night shifts on weekdays, weekends and holidays.
Must be able to be able to operate a forklift, be proficient in use of hand tools and have mechanical aptitude, and be detail oriented.
Must be able to climb ladders, lift objects of at least 75lbs, and move heavy rolls of newsprint.
Position requires standing and bending for long periods of time while working efficiently and may include other work related duties not listed.
We will train the right person.

Pay: $14.70 - $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
