About the role:
- Monitoring sales and FIT emails
- Creating invoicesCollecting/follow up on payments
- Closing groups upon departureManaging rooming lists and balancing house for groups reservations
- Building database and assisting in outreach
- Pull monthly production reports as directed by DOSM
- Help with contracts execution.
- Add groups to Opera.
- Fully manage Tripleseat, F&B and all other leads that come through Manage BEOs and Menus development/changes with kitchen VIP amenities.
- Availability to work events.
- Creation of Resumes and responsible for communicating information to team members
- Upkeep of all sales files - physical and in the cloud.
- Plan and implement together with the Director of Sales & Marketing team actions to achieve the established results.
- Keep abreast of industry events and statistics that may impact sales to understand emerging trends in your area.
- Analyze the local market and competition to identify unique sales opportunities through industry reports, benchmarking tools, net working, events and seminars, tourism offices and chambers of commerce.
- Manage key accounts, maintaining a close relationship and establishing strategies for their growth and loyalty.
- Prepare and present regular sales reports to management and together with the Director of Sales & Marketing, and Revenue team, including sales forecasts, competitor analysis, market trends, and sales performance.
- Collaborate with the marketing and public relations teams to promote hotel visibility, participate in industry events, and negotiate advertising contracts.
- Coordinate with various hotel departments to ensure that guest needs and expectations are met.
- Studies: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hospitality or related field.
- Languages: English and Spanish. Third language will be desirable
- Demonstrated experience in a sales position, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Skills: Negotiation, customer orientation, anticipation, dynamism, enthusiasm and commitment.
